The Dunham Children's Learning Center's Dr. Seuss-themed "Fox in Socks" campaign was a great success, collecting more than 220 pairs of socks for donation to Family Promise of Lycoming County.
The staff, children and families thank each participant in the sock drive.
"The Children’s Learning Center, in its ongoing effort to pay it forward and show kindness toward others, is proud of this effort and will continue to have quarterly drives for items of need for the Family Promise center," said Linda A. Reichert, CLC director.
Family Promise, which offers services and material items to families in the county, is in need of diapers and pull-ups sizes 4 and 5 as well as blankets, she added. (Blankets can be gently used).
