David M. Heiney, college's interim president in early '80s, dies

Heiney, 80, of Hughesville, interim president of Williamsport Area Community College from 1980-81, died Sunday, Dec. 20, 2020, at UPMC Susquehanna in Williamsport.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. A full obituary, detailing his professional accomplishments and community involvement, is available on the website of the McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home in Hughesville.
