Students and employees of Pennsylvania College of Technology are invited to visit The Gallery at Penn College to view the current exhibit: Melissa Haviland's "You can’t take it with you …”
The free exhibit can be viewed through Dec. 3 on Mondays, from 2 to 7 p.m.; Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 1 to 7 p.m.; Wednesdays, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.; and Fridays, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the gallery, on the third floor of Madigan Library. As with all other campus locations, masks and social distancing are required.
A new feature in the gallery is QR codes linking visitors to audio files recorded by Haviland, describing her five installations.
"You can't take it with you ..." and its accompanying audio files are also available on the gallery’s website. The virtual exhibit is the general public's option for experiencing the current gallery offering.
A printmaker and installation artist, Haviland plays with paper and plastic in her works exploring a range of global cultural issues.
