Pennsylvania College of Technology wrestlers picked up the only wins of the week, going 2-1 at the York College quadrangular on Saturday.
The Wildcats lost to York College, 40-9, and posted wins over Penn State Mont Alto, 40-12, and Southern Virginia University, 30-9, to go to 11-12 on the season. For Penn College, Dylan Gettys, of Etters, at 174 and 184, and Dylan Otis, of Wyalusing, at 285, both finished the day 3-0.
Men's basketball
At Gallaudet University on Monday, Penn College lost, 87-77. Spencer Bartron, of Camden, Delaware, paced the Wildcats with 28 points and Elijah Vazquez, of Woonsocket, Rhode Island, added 25 points.
Trailing by six at halftime, Penn College pulled back to within one at 49-48 with 5:43 remaining only to fall, 64-53, at home with Penn State Abington on Wednesday. Ryan Lockman, of White Salmon, Washington, led Penn College with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Bartron came in with 13 points and Vazquez 11 points in the NEAC contest.
Vazquez poured in a personal season-high 29 points while Carson Garvis, of Taneytown, Maryland, and Bartron added 14 and 13 points, respectively, but it wasn’t enough in an 87-79 NEAC loss at SUNY Poly on Saturday that dropped Penn College to 2-17 overall and 1-9 in the conference.

Hosting NEAC foe Penn State Abington on Wednesday, the visitors hit on 55 percent of their field goals (37 of 67) and 50 percent of their 3-point shots (9 of 18) to hand a 92-61 defeat to the Wildcats. Cassi Kuhns, of Loyalsock Township, and Gwendolyn Lavelle, of Pocono Summit, each scored 14 points for Penn College and Olivia Johnson, of Shavertown, scored 11.
At SUNY Poly on Saturday, the home team jumped to a 24-6 lead after one quarter and Penn College lost, 62-52, to drop to 0-10 in the NEAC. Kuhns topped Penn College with 14 points, Klock scored 12 points and Kiara Fry, of Montgomery, added 10.
Stepping out of the conference on Sunday, the Wildcats lost at home against Marywood University, 65-52, to fall to 1-18 overall. Klock finished with 11 points and Kaylah Brown, of Suffolk, Virginia, scored 10.
