A limited number of free tickets are available to Pennsylvania College of Technology students for several of this season's Community Arts Center shows. In order to give the most students the opportunity to attend a free performance, a student with a valid Penn College ID may pick up one ticket for one performance per semester, while supplies last. For shows deemed "family friendly," a student with a valid Penn College ID may pick up four tickets for one performance per semester. Students will have the opportunity to receive additional tickets if any remain unclaimed one week before the performance date.
Students can pick up their tickets at the Bush Campus Center Information Desk for the following performances:
Artrageous!
7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 1
Imagine witnessing the creativity of an artist creating a masterpiece before your eyes in mere moments. Combined with captivating vocals, intricate choreography and exciting music, Artrageous takes its audience on a visual journey and a high-energy ride of inspiration, creativity and engagement.
Our troupe of artist, musicians, singers and dancers pay tribute to a variety of art forms, icons and musical genres throughout the evening. The result: a uniquely entertaining, masterpiece show culminating in a gallery of fabulous finished paintings.
A signature of the Artrageous Troupe, from the very beginning of their long history, is interaction and engagement … so be prepared to be a part of the show. Each show is as unique as each audience and they can’t do it without you!
The Nutcracker (family-friendly)
7:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1
On Christmas Eve, a little girl falls asleep after a party at her home and dreams herself into a fantastic world where toys become larger than life. Her beloved nutcracker comes to life and defends her from the Mouse King.
Additional shows may be added based on the CAC season schedule. Questions? Contact the Student Activities Office at ext. 4763 or stop by the CC Information Desk.
