'Grad Finale' Heralds Mid-May Celebration

The Bush Campus Center was a marketplace of merriment during Tuesday's Grad Finale for students who will process with their classmates in three commencement ceremonies on May 11-12. Thanks to the five-hour Penn's Inn event facilitated by The College Store, the near-alumni could conveniently tend to all manner of graduation-related errands.

The sister-brother team of Mandy M. and Joseph M. Myers, of Duke Center, name-drop some of the help they've had along the way to their degrees. She's an applied human services student; he's majoring in information technology sciences-gaming and simulation.

Po-Ju Sung, of Taiwan, and Jonathon M. Conway, of Durham, Conn., are one step closer to walking across the Community Arts Center stage. Sung, graduating in heavy construction equipment technology: Caterpillar emphasis, and Conway, enrolled in diesel technology, were among those buying their caps and gowns Tuesday morning.
