Minorities Lending Knowledge assisted at Sunday's Williamsport Civic Chorus concert in the Klump Academic Center, co-sponsored by Penn College in observance of Black History Month. Members of the student group handed out programs and ushered for the performance, which featured a selection of "American Spirituals." The community chorus was joined by Anthony T. Leach and the Essence of Joy Alumni Singers from Penn State. WCC member Deb A. Buckman, an assistant professor of chemistry/environmental science, helped coordinate the partnership with Campus & Community Engagement; other Penn College employees in the chorus are Barbara J.
