Audriana L. Empet has been named associate director of admissions at Pennsylvania College of Technology.
Empet, of Corning, New York, comes to Penn College from Cornell University’s Center for Technology Licensing, Ithaca, New York, where she was employed as a communication and outreach officer and, prior to that, as a communication and event specialist.
Previously, Empet worked at Mansfield University, where she served as assistant director of admissions from 2012-16. She has also worked as an admissions representative at Elmira Business Institute.
Empet holds a Master of Arts in communication studies from Edinboro University with concentrations in managerial and leadership communication and intercultural and international communication, as well as a graduate certificate in conflict management. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from the University of Arizona.
“Audriana brings a wealth of knowledge about the field of admissions and higher education,” said Carolyn R. Strickland, vice president for enrollment management/associate provost. “We are excited about the future of our new student recruitment initiatives under her leadership and are thrilled to welcome her to the Penn College team.”
