Ruhl, are on display in Madigan Library through Tuesday. The students – who met for lecture on main campus on Tuesdays and for lab work at the Schneebeli Earth Science Center on Thursdays – had to create their designs using the fundamental skills learned during the semester; and determine the containers, flowers and foliage required to implement their vision. The class, which is open to all academic majors, "provides an opportunity for students to express themselves in a unique art form," said Ruhl, owner of Special Occasion Florals in Williamsport. "The basic elements and principles of design that we learn provide the foundation for a lifelong skill."
