Music-Minded Mime to Perform With Symphony, Visit Campus
Tuesday, November 15, 2016
Mime Dan Kamin returns to the Community Arts Center at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 13, to perform with the Williamsport Symphony Orchestra in its traditional Holiday Concert. As guest artist, Kamin – who schooled Robert Downey Jr. in the art of silent comedy for "Chaplin" and helped Johnny Depp prepare for "Benny & Joon" – will delight a family-friendly audience with his considerable clowning skills. The orchestra will accompany Kamin with well-known tunes, including holiday favorites, and the evening will also feature the winner of the Young Artist Competition and a side-by-side performance with the symphony's Youth Orchestra. In a continuation of WSO's historic connection to Penn College, Kamin will visit the youngsters in the Dunham Children's Learning Center on Dec. 8.
