Students Gain Vantage From Enforcement's Side of the Road

Pennsylvania State Police recently made their yearly visit to the Schneebeli Earth Science Center, sharing with Penn College students the link between their chosen careers and safety on the commonwealth’s roadways.  Trooper David Walker and Motor Carrier Enforcement Officer Dave Kelch detailed the responsibility and liability that technicians hold in making sure the vehicles they service and operate are within the laws and regulations governing commercial highway traffic. Diesel technology and heavy construction equipment technology: operator emphasis majors also witnessed an actual roadside commercial vehicle safety evaluation.
