Kenneth Smith brought a group of 11 mechanics, crew chiefs, and maintenance and instructor pilots to the Lumley Aviation Center in three helicopters on Wednesday afternoon. The aircraft –  a Boeing CH-47, a Eurocopter UH-72 and a Sikorsky UH-60 – are from the Pennsylvania Army National Guard stationed at Indiantown Gap. Smith spoke to Penn College aviation students about federal technician openings, for which they will be qualified upon graduation.
