A memorial service will be Wednesday for G. Robert Kissell, a longtime Williamsport Area Community College faculty member, who died Saturday, Oct. 22, at the age of 89. The history and government professor was listed among The Outstanding Educators in America in 1973 and, upon his retirement, was granted emeritus status. The service will be at 11 a.m. at Bethany Lutheran Church, 369 Broad St., Montoursville, with private burial in the Jersey Shore Cemetery.
