Students Encourage Future Interns While Recounting Experiences

Students from Penn College's engineering and industrial design technology majors recently summarized their summer internship experiences during presentations in College Avenue Labs, followed by question-and-answer opportunities that inspired their classmates.
"The information shared will have a positive impact on students seeking similar opportunities in their future," said Katherine A. Walker, assistant professor and department head for engineering and industrial design technology. "Their experiences were simply amazing; they make us Penn College Proud!"
The students, their hometowns and the location of their internships are:
“Each student presented with enthusiasm and excitement and it was quite evident they not only enjoyed the internship, but that is was also a fantastic learning experience," added David A. Probst, assistant professor of engineering design technology and internship coordinator. "Several have been asked to return next summer because of the quality of their work performance."

- Jason S. Ruzzi, of Hummelstown – Samtec, Mecanicsburg
- Sabrina S. Toplovich, of Spring Creek – Viking Plastics, Corry
- Jasmin Vega, Little Falls, New Jersey – IBC Shell Packaging, New Hyde Park, New York
- Hanna J. Williams, of Marion, New Jersey – John Deere and Co., Waterloo, Iowa
