Upperclassmen Show No Mercy in Defeating Freshmen, 42-7
Thursday, September 29, 2016
The freshmen started Wednesday's annual Homecoming flag football game in possession, driving the ball downfield to take an early 7-0 lead ... and that was it. The squad of upperclassmen went on to score 42 unanswered points to defeat the first-year team, 42-7. The upperclassmen scored on touchdown passes, touchdown runs and interceptions returned for touchdowns. Determined not to give up, the freshmen made one final drive to within the upperclassmen's 20-yard line, only to have the ball intercepted as time ran out.
