Tuesday, February 2, 2016
Nearly 300 regional high school students competed in 35 skill and 18 leadership contests as Penn College hosted the SkillsUSA District 6 competition Friday. First-place winners in those events, held in a variety of campus labs and other locations, will advance to the Pennsylvania Leadership and Skills Championships (April 13-15) at the Hershey Lodge and Convention Center. The event has grown from 68 students in 2013 to this year's total of 281 students and 35 high school advisers.
