Seventeen Penn College Athletes Honored

Seventeen Pennsylvania College of Technology athletes were awarded "Athlete of the Week" honors during the fall semester.



They are:

Sept. 20-Oct. 4 – Ben Leibig, of Lebanon, men’s tennis/Robyn Beddow, of Lancaster, women’s soccer.

Sept. 28-Oct. 12 – Sophie Coldsmith, of Gettysburg, women’s volleyball/Hunter Gosnell, of Westminster, Maryland, men’s soccer.

Oct. 4-18 – Ned Baumbach, of Elizabethtown, golf/Beddow.

Oct. 12-26 – Chris Morrin, of Morrisville, men’s tennis/Hannah Williams, of Marion, New York, women’s soccer.

Oct. 19-Nov. 2 – Baumbach/Hailee Hartman, of Lampeter, women’s soccer.

Oct. 26-Nov. 9 – Randy Vance, of Greenwood Lake, New York, men’s soccer/Caitlin McCarthy, of State College, women’s soccer.

Nov. 2-16 – Mason Replogle, of New Enterprise, wrestling/Laresa Paden, of Mifflintown, women’s soccer.

Nov. 9-23 – Dan Frankenfield, of Dushore, wrestling/Jordan Courter, of Mill Hall, women’s soccer.

Nov. 23-Dec. 7 – Jamie Steer, of South Williamsport, women’s basketball/Kevin Laurence-El, of Milton, men’s basketball.

Dec. 7-12 – Steer/Laurence-El.

Dec. 13-27 – Marquis Delgado, of Mansfield, men’s basketball.

Penn College teams are idle over the holidays and return to action in January: the basketball teams hosting Penn State Berks at Bardo Gymnasium in North Eastern Athletic Conference action on Jan. 5 and the wrestling team competing at the Penn State Mont Alto Duals on Jan. 9.
