President Davie Jane Gilmour hosted Penn College’s inaugural Salon Dinner Series event Sept. 30 in Boston. The event featured Alan Lightman, renowned physicist and author (“Einstein’s Dreams”) and professor of the practice of the humanities at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, addressing the subject of applied technology in higher education.
