Residence Life Recognizes 2014-15's Outstanding RAs

Honored as "RA for the Year" for 2014-15 was Ryan A. Gibson, an aviation maintenance technology major from Lansdale; selected as the "Rising Star of the Year," a new RA who has demonstrated the most growth, was Eric T. McMahon, of Oil City, studying building science and sustainable design/architectural technology concentration; receiving the "Always Hallways" award for diligence in his awareness of housing facilities was Cody A. Forke, a building automation technology student from Gilbertsville; and "First Responder" honors, for excellent response to (and handling of) a very difficult situation, were presented to Christopher J. Morrin, of Morrisville, enrolled in the building automation Technology: heating, ventilation and air conditioning technology concentration. Wilmer I. Clase, an architectural technology major from Lancaster, is this year's recipient of the Tracy Garis Leadership Award, given to an outstanding leader who has excelled as a student and community-builder. It is presented in tribute to a dental hygiene student who died in a 2010 traffic accident.
