College's First 'Wildcat Egg Hunt' Delivers Age-Appropriate Fun

Donning rabbit ears and carrying a basket of treats, the Wildcat easily attracts some young friends.Shortly after a horn signaled the start, youngsters (and their helpful parents) round up some of the 524 eggs placed by the sponsoring organizations.Seemingly hopping down the bunny trail, a young "hunter" eyeballs the shrubbery.Nothing says "spring fashion" quite like a splash of pink and just the right accessories.Maybe under here?Clear skies, sunshine and the Penn College mascot blessed Sunday's first-ever Wildcat Egg Hunt, held on the Victorian House lawn and the adjacent grounds of the Thompson Professional Development Center. Organized by the college's Veterans Club and Adult Learners, with hope the hunt will grow into a campus tradition, the family-friendly event featured searches geared to children in four age groups – 0-3, 4-6, 7-9 and 10-12 – as well as prizes and refreshments.
