Elizabeth A. Biddle has been appointed director of corporate relations at Pennsylvania College of Technology, effective Jan. 19.
Biddle has been project manager for the Outreach for K-12 Office at Penn College since 2009. In her new role, she will develop and sustain mutually beneficial relationships with business and industry to benefit students at Penn College.

Miller, vice president for institutional advancement at the college. “Liz brings an excellent technical background and considerable experience working with a variety of constituencies. Her professional demeanor and enthusiasm for Penn College and our mission will continue to be an asset to Penn College and prove valuable in her new role as director of corporate relations.”
As project manager for Outreach for K-12, Biddle worked with educators from school districts and career and technology centers statewide in Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey and New York. She coordinated the SMART Girls summer camp, a residential program that engages high school girls in STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) career fields, and also served as a consultant for the National Alliance for Partnerships in Equity’s STEM Equity Pipeline, working with the states of Louisiana and Utah.
Biddle began her employment with Penn College in 2006 as the Plastics SourceNet Coordinator in the Plastics Innovation & Resource Center (formerly the Plastics Manufacturing Center), coordinating the statewide resource network for plastics professionals and entrepreneurs and serving on the committee to host the first biennial Pennsylvania Plastics SourceNet Symposium.
She was also a verifier and trainer for the Global Standards for the Plastics Certification training program and served as an adjunct faculty member in the plastics department.
Prior to her Penn College employment, Biddle worked for GlaxoSmithKline.
Biddle holds a Master of Business Administration from Eastern University. She earned a bachelor’s degree in plastics and polymer engineering technology and an associate degree in plastics and polymer technology from Penn College. She completed a capstone semester in nanofabrication manufacturing technology at Penn State.
Her community involvement includes the Lycoming County United Way, 2012-present; Delta Mu Delta, 2011-present; Expectations Women's Center, 2011-13; Greenview Alliance Church board member, 2012-13; Greater Williamsport Toastmasters, 2004-07; and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, 2006.
