Twenty-Two Honored as 'Athletes of the Week'

Twenty-two student-athletes were named Pennsylvania College of Technology Wildcat Athletes of the Week during the fall semester.



They are, for the period ending:

Sept. 7 – Senior cross-country runner Daniel Flynn, of Blairstown, New Jersey,  and senior women’s volleyball player Courtney Gernert, of Palmyra.

Sept. 15 – Senior golfer Corey Teeple, of Lake Ariel, and sophomore women’s soccer player Colleen Bowes, of Wayne.

Sept. 22 – Sophomore men’s cross-country runner Nathan Mashack, of Bloomsburg, and sophomore women’s soccer player Lindsey Bradshaw, of Bristow, Virginia.

Sept. 29 – Freshman men’s tennis player Benjamin Leibig, of Lebanon, and freshman women’s volleyball player Sophie Coldsmith, of Gettysburg.

Oct. 5 – Junior men’s soccer player Hector Guerrero, of Mexico City, Mexico, and freshman women’s volleyball player Samantha Pogash, of Saint Clair.

Oct. 12 – Freshman men’s golfer Mike Saccoman, of Kingston, New York, and sophomore women’s soccer player Jordan Courter, of Mill Hall.

Oct. 20 – Teeple was honored for the second time in golf as was Gernert in women’s volleyball.

Oct. 28 – Junior men’s soccer player Christian Dressler, of McAlisterville, and freshman women’s soccer player Hailee Hartman, of Lampeter.

Nov. 3 – Freshman wrestler Slade Storm, of New Oxford, and freshman women’s cross-country runner Elyssa Stanton, of Honesdale.

Nov. 10 – Men’s cross-country runner Flynn was honored for the second time as was women’s cross-country runner Stanton.

Nov. 17 – Freshman men’s basketball player Cass Wisniewski, of Bethel Park.

Nov. 24 – Sophomore men’s basketball player Ezra Adams, of Muncy, and sophomore women’s basketball player Charese Bova, of Beech Creek.

Dec. 1 – Junior men’s basketball player Kevin Laurence-El, of Milton, and women’s basketball player Bova (who was honored for the second time).

Dec. 8 – Sophomore men’s basketball player Thomas Ross, of Williamsport, and sophomore women’s basketball player Alicia Ross, of Williamsport.

Dec. 15 – Men’s basketball player Wisniewski was honored for the second time and women’s basketball player Bova for the third.
