Senior Josh Longsderff, of Columbia, has been named the Penn State University Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week for the period ending April 13. Longsderff captured two of the team’s six wins on the week, including a complete-game shutout against Penn State York. In his seven innings of work, he allowed just three hits, no walks and struck out 10. A residential construction technology and management major, Longsderff leads the Wildcats and the PSUAC with a total of five wins on the season so far. He has an era of 2.59 with 29 strikeouts and only seven earned runs in 24.1 innings. Next up, Longsderff and the Wildcats travel to Penn State Beaver on Thursday for a 3 p.m. doubleheader.
