Former Student, Fiance Win GMA's 'Epic Wedding' Competition
Friday, February 7, 2014
A former Penn College nursing student and her fiance fended off three other couples to win this week's "Good Morning America's Epic Wedding Showdown," the grand prize of which is a Valentine's Day ceremony with a performance by John Legend. Alexandra Rall – whose father, Harry, retired from the college's General Services department in 2011 – and Jeremy Lazorka will be married live on the air during "GMA's" Feb. 14 telecast. Lycoming County's "Team Red" survived an obstacle course, a cake-decorating contest and, on Friday's final day of the competition, a "Ring In and Win" quiz show. The couple was given a 100-point head start by virtue of public voting, but scarcely needed it, answering three quick questions to seize victory and start their whirlwind countdown to "I do."
