Short-Term Computer Classes to Be Offered at Penn College

Workforce Development & Continuing Education at Pennsylvania College of Technology is offering four basic, short-term computer classes through May.
Computer Camp for Adults 55+ (9 a.m. to noon, Feb. 11 and 13 or 9 a.m. to noon, April 3 and 10) is a fun course that introduces the computer for enjoyment purposes. Topics include games, email, the Internet, Facebook and basic word-processing for letter-writing.
Creating Greeting Cards Using Publisher (1 to 4 p.m., April 3) introduces Microsoft Publisher to those new to the computer. Topics include using Publisher to create greeting cards, invitations and calendars.
Beginner’s Guide to Computers and Microsoft Office (9 a.m. to noon, March 11 and 18 or 6 to 9 p.m., April 30 and May 7) is designed for new computer users to create basic files in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
