Fraternity's 5K Run/Walk Benefits Wounded Warrior Project

Maurer, technology services coordinator at the college's Madigan Library, is applauded at the finish.In the first of what is expected to become an annual event, a 5K run/walk sponsored by the Sigma Nu Fraternity at Penn College raised more than $300 for the Wounded Warrior Project. The race, which began at the main campus entrance near the Student and Administrative Services Center, was won by Daniel J. Schepis, of Quakertown, enrolled in information technology: web and applications development concentration. In second place was Shannon L. Abercrombie, of Roaring Branch, an applied health studies: occupational therapy assistant concentration major.
