Regional Antique-Automobile Club Journeys to Penn College
Friday, September 20, 2013
Representatives of the Gettysburg Region of the Antique Automobile Club of America, many of them in classic cars, traveled to Penn College on Friday to showcase their vehicles; meet with the Institutional Advancement Office; and interact with students, faculty and administration from the School of Transportation & Natural Resources Technologies. The opportunity was embraced by automotive and collision repair majors, who took advantage of the closer look afforded by the generous and trusting owners. The club's visit – timed to a scholarship fund established by its members – also coincided with an end-of-the-week cookout for students, and included lunch at the Thompson Professional Development Center and tours of instructional labs.
