President Gilmour Goes the Distance in First Series as LL Chair

Monday, August 26, 2013

As chair of the Little League International Board of Directors, Penn College President Davie Jane Gilmour was seemingly everywhere during the 67th annual Little League Baseball World Series. In the whirlwind dozen days between an Aug. 14 campus cookout for participants to Sunday's Japan-vs.-California matchup (a period that coincided with a hectic start-up week for the Fall 2013 semester), the president tended to duties both formal and fun – and raised the visibility of Penn College in the process.
