Wherever we're from or whatever we're feeling, there's nothing like a pooch to bring us closer to home or make an anxious day better. That's the notion behind Counseling Services' annual "Hot Dog, You're Here!" initiative, held for the fourth year this week at Rose Street Commons. Faculty/staff dog owners again brought their four-legged friends to campus to interact with first-year students, many of whom left pets behind and some of whom are struggling with the long-distance passage to college. The innovative event includes free food and games, as well as stress-free conversation with Penn College employees and unconditional "face time" with some very huggable new friends.Photos by Marc T.
