Monday, July 22, 2013

Gary Steele, of Montgomery, received the Viewer’s Choice Award as part of the “Art Alive!” Lycoming County Juried Art Exhibition, held recently at The Gallery at Pennsylvania College of Technology.

“Art Alive!” featured fine art in a variety of media, all created by Lycoming County residents.

The Viewer’s Choice Award winner was determined by votes cast by those visiting the exhibition throughout its monthlong showing. Steele was honored for his ink and wax work titled “Steps to Wonder.” The piece also received third place from the exhibition’s prize juror.
