Collision Repair Teachers Hold Three-Day Training Conference

Klinger schools participants on forming sheet-metal panels.More than a dozen high school instructors from Pennsylvania and Maryland joined Penn College faculty members for a recent training conference on campus. The group benefited from professional-development sessions on such topics as estimating, structural repair and refinishing with waterborne materials; got a firsthand look at the college's automotive and collision repair labs; and attended a trade show. Penn College participants were Alfred M. Thomas II, associate professor of collision repair; Loren Bruckhart and Roy H. Klinger, collision repair instructors; automotive instructor Eric D. Pruden (who provided the photos); and Michael R. Bierly, collision repair lecturer. Thomas and Klinger were also presenters during the three-day training, as were John R. Cuprisin, an associate professor in the automotive technology: Ford ASSET major; Chad H. Rudloff, an automotive instructor; and Charles F. Probst, Honda PACT instructor.
