Video from Tuesday's campus visit by the Penn State "Coaches Caravan." a sold-out event that gave hundreds of people the opportunity to meet football coach Bill O'Brien and his counterparts in Nittany Lion field hockey and men's volleyball, has been added to the Penn College YouTube channel. "These kids are students first," O'Brien said of Penn State athletes. "That's our culture and it's across all 31 teams. I'm most proud of the players. I'm most proud of the guys that I coach, the other student-athletes on the other teams. Everything that they do on a daily basis: go to class, practice hard, lift weights, condition and try to be the best they can be. I'm proud to be associated with that." For another proud Penn Stater – alumna Davie Jane Gilmour, Penn College president – the Coaches Caravan allowed visitors to acquaint themselves with the home of "degrees that work." "As I greeted people coming in the door (of the Field House), we realized that many of them, while they are familiar with Penn College, they had never been to this part of campus. They had never seen this building. So it's a great opportunity." (Photo gallery)
