Students Exhibit 'Art of Floral Design' Through Final Projects
Friday, May 3, 2013
Christine A. Fink's Art of Floral Design class affords students the opportunity to develop an appreciation for the history – as well as basic principles – of floral design. Students recently displayed their creativity in one of the final projects of the elective, interestingly blending contemporary styling with historical influences from the Egyptians, Greeks and Romans – and a little "western" flair thrown in for fun! With floral arrangements used to celebrate life's events and milestones, it is not difficult to imagine one of these designs making an artful impact during prom season.
