Senior Archers Given Sincere Sendoff After Regional Tournament

The Penn College archery team honored its four graduating members Sunday following the Eastern Regional Intercollegiate Archery Championships.

Boyer, a nursing major from Macungie, has been with the team for two years.  This year, she earned a spot on the All-East Regional team for women’s compound – ranking first.

Joseph A. Dowdrick III
Dowdrick, a business administration: management concentration major from Lebanon, is president of the team and a four-year member. He was named the Penn College Male Athlete of the Year and has been an All-American and member of the All-East team for men’s bowhunter.

Lantz, a mass media communication major from Ulster, is shooting for the first time this year. She placed ninth at the Adam Wheatcroft Memorial, her best finish of the year so far.

Unverdorben, an electrical technology major from Pine Grove, is another first-year member of the team.  He took third at the ERIAC in men’s recurve, his best finish of the season to date.
