Senior Members of Wildcat Softball Squad Recognized in Pregame Ceremony

On a cold and blustery afternoon at Elm Park, the Pennsylvania College of Technology softball team honored its four graduating seniors prior to the start of its Tuesday doubleheader against Penn State New Kensington.

Lindsey R. Anderson, Britni M. Fennell, Stephanie N. Keifrider and Lacy M. Lose have all been vital parts of the squad and will truly be missed by the coaches and players.

Fennell, Stephanie N. Keifrider and Lacy M. Lose.Anderson is a welding and fabrication engineering technology major from Heber Springs, Ark. She has been on the Wildcat squad for two years, making more than 20 appearances. She recorded her first collegiate hit against Penn State Mont Alto and is a Penn State University Athletic Conference Academic All-Conference selection.

Fennell is a manufacturing engineering technology major from Conyngham. She has been on the team for two years with more than 30 starts to her name. Last season, she led the team in RBIs and averaged .313 in batting. She logged a career-high three RBIs against Penn State Greater Allegheny and was a member of the PSUAC Academic All-Conference team.

Keifrider, another two-year member of the squad, is a legal assistant-paralegal major from Douglassville. A starter in more than 25 games, she led the team in walks last season and was ranked 20th in the conference. She recorded a career-high two hits against Penn State Greater Allegheny and was a member of the PSUAC Academic All-Conference team.

Lose is an applied health studies: occupational therapy assistant concentration major from Avis. She has been on the team for three years and, in that time, has amassed an impressive 186 strikeouts, 35 hits and 24 RBIs. Last season, Lose led the team in wins and games pitched, and led the conference in complete games. She is a two-time PSUAC All-Academic team member.
