Construction Management Students/Alumni/Faculty Pose Formidable Triple Threat
Friday, February 22, 2013
Representatives of the four-year construction management major were again out in force recently to promote greater awareness of the nationally accredited bachelor-degree program at Penn College. Senior Benjamin J. Stover and junior Preston K. Nelson, along with Jason E. Krick, construction management instructor, attended the ACE College Fair in Frederick, Md., on Feb. 4. Bechtel Corp., a globally known engineering and construction company, sponsored the event at Tuscarora High School. Two 2012 graduates of the major attended, as well: John M. Kriner, employed by Hensel Phelps Corp., and Kyle S. Baker, employed by Whiting Turner Corp., spoke about the quality of education they received and the critical role that construction managers play in the industry. The ACE Mentoring Program and ACE College Fairs seek to enhance prospective students' understanding of career opportunities related to architecture, construction and engineering.
