Tuesday, February 12, 2013
On Friday, three automotive restoration technology students and two members of Penn College's School of Transportation Technology faculty made a presentation at the Antique Automobile Club of America annual meeting about the major and projects on which students are working. Among them is a 1970 Chevelle Super Sport from the AACA museum in Hershey, the chassis of which was on display at the meeting. Daniel E. Bishop, Ryan J. Levesque and Drew A. Swanson accompanied instructors Roy H. Klinger and Eric D. Pruden to the Philadelphia event. "The students did an excellent job in their presentations," noted Pruden, who also provided the photos, "and the audience had a chance to ask questions about the program, and the tools and techniques used in the restoration process." The students also had the opportunity to attend information sessions, as well as meet with members of AACA clubs from across the United States.
