Four Student-Athletes Honored During Wrestling 'Senior Day'

Prior to the start of Saturday’s tri-match in Bardo Gymnasium, the Pennsylvania College of Technology wrestling team honored its four graduating seniors: Austin Clark, Paul Crutchlow, Logan Gresock and Tyler Myers. The four represent a core group that helped the team to its first Penn State University Athletic Conference Championship in 2012.

Clark, a welding and fabrication engineering technology major from Elysburg, has been with the Wildcats for two years and, so far, has a 17-21 career record.

Crutchlow, an automotive technology management major from Morris Plains, N.J., is a two-year member of the team with a 20-17 career record to date. He earned a berth in the 2012 National Collegiate Wrestling Association Championships, going 2-2 with a win over the No. 1 seed.

Gresock, a construction management major from Wadsworth, Ohio, is another two-year member of the team with a 27-7 career record so far. He also earned a berth in the 2012 NCWA championships and, so far this year, is undefeated with a 12-0 record.

Myers, a construction management major from Centre Hall, has been with the team since its inception in 2010. He placed eighth at last year's NCWA Championships, becoming one of the first All-Americans in the program. He has a career record of 46-22 so far this season.

The Wildcats get back into action Saturday, when they travel to Lock Haven University for preliminary bouts starting at 5 p.m.
