Manufacturers' Meeting Includes Tour of Penn College Labs

The Williamsport chapter of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers held its monthly meeting at Penn College on Dec. 10. More than 30 chapter members, representing Williamsport-area industries, toured the college’s state-of-the-art digital prototyping, rapid prototyping and advanced manufacturing facilities in the College Avenue Labs building. Faculty members J.D. Mather, assistant professor of drafting and computer aided design, and John M. Good, instructor of automation and integrated manufacturing, provided demonstrations of the most up-to-date computer aided design techniques, as well as industrial robots and CNC milling and turning centers.
