Weekly Basketball Honors Accorded Lady Wildcats' Steer

Kierstin SteerSenior forward Kierstin Steer (South Williamsport) has been named the Penn State University Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the period ending Nov. 25.  Steer scored 13 points against Alfred University in the team’s only game of the week, taking her over the 1,000-point career mark.  By doing so, the technology management major became the first Penn College women’s basketball player in history to reach that milestone. Steer is averaging 10 points a game so far this season, ranking her third on the team.  In her career, she has been named PSUAC All-Conference three times. Steer and the Wildcats host Penn State Hazleton at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
