Penn College junior Tyler C. Myers, of Centre Hall, has been named the Penn State University Athletic Conference Wrestler of the Week for the period ending Nov. 11. In the opening week of the season, Myers went a perfect 5-0, recording all pins in his matches. This is his first honor of the year. Myers, a construction management major, recorded wins against The Apprentice School, University of Scranton, Penn State DuBois and University of Maryland Baltimore County. His efforts have him currently ranked fifth at the 157 weight class in the National Collegiate Wrestling Association. Last season, Myers was an impressive 22-16, finishing out the season at eighth in the NCWA National Championships, becoming one of the first Penn College All-Americans.
