Appropriately dressed in the night's signature color, fans packed Bardo Gym for Tuesday's "Pink Out" women's volleyball match in support of Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. The event was sponsored by College Health Services, the Off-Campus Housing Organization and Wildcat Athletics. There were giveaways of pink bracelets and cotton candy (served to fans by Community Assistants), and attendees – some of them wearing shirts from a recent tie-dye party – had the opportunity to win an Athletics T-shirt or Penn College bag. A can was passed through the stands for donations, raising $100 for the Oct. 20 Making Strides walk in Montoursville's Indian Park. "Best of all, the team won!" Lisa J. Worth, coordinator for club sports, intramural sports and marketing for athletics, said of the evening's 3-0 sweep of Penn State Wilkes-Barre. "Many thanks go out to all who sponsored and helped at the event."
