OTA Club President Felicia M. Shoup, of Trout Run (left), and Mariah A. Walter, of New Paris, take a slippery slide across the playing surface.Showing off their "Get Jiggy With Us" T-shirts, custom-made for the occasion, are Jennifer L. Dudek, of Williamsport (left), and Morgan E. Sheddy, of Jersey Shore.Club adviser Jeanne M. Kerschner, OTA clinical director, signals the start of competition between her students and a rival team from elsewhere in the School of Health Sciences.Undeterred by Mother Nature's whim, Traci L. Banfield, of Sayre (left), and Danielle M. Shreiner, of Lititz, surrender to the slop.Their plans for a fundraiser might have been doused by drizzle, but members of Penn College's Occupational Therapy Assistant Club didn't let a little rain wash away the joy of a Jell-O Tug of War on Wednesday afternoon. Spreading a tarp on the Madigan Library lawn and adding a layer of fruity gelatin in the center, squishy goo that only grew squishier and gooier as the raindrops puddled, the students gamely made the best of it. Challengers ultimately were as scarce as donations – a group of physical fitness specialist students were specially recruited from Bardo Gym for a competitive yank of the rope – but the event nonetheless drew points for its offbeat attempt at campus conviviality.
