Freshman Reda Vermilya (Turbotville) was named United States Collegiate Athletic Association Goalie of the Week for the period ending Monday. Vermilya did not allow a goal in two games, with the highlight being a 15-save effort against Lycoming College that ended in a 0-0 draw. Vermilya, a pre-radiography major, is ranked third in save percentage (.902) in the USCAA and has a .79 goals against average. So far this year, the Lady Wildcats are 5-1-1 and are ranked third in the USCAA national poll. Vermilya is 4-1-1 with 46 saves.
