QuickBooks 2011 Noncredit Courses Offered at Penn College

Tuesday, September 18, 2012

Individuals with little bookkeeping knowledge can learn the powerful features of QuickBooks 2011, the leading accounting software for small-business owners, in two levels of noncredit instruction at Pennsylvania College of Technology this fall.

Participants can learn to effectively create and track accounts, generate invoices, and process payments in Level 1, to be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Mondays, Oct. 15-29.

Advanced features – including memorized transactions, customizing forms, creating reports and graphs, tracking and paying sales tax, and preparing payroll – will be taught in Level 2, scheduled from 6 to 9 p.m. Mondays, Nov. 12-26.

Held in the Center for Business & Workforce Development on the college’s main campus in Williamsport, classes are taught by qualified instructors at a comfortable pace for all levels of adult learners. The small, noncredit sessions are offered in a relaxed computer-lab environment, allowing participants to learn, experiment and ask questions.
