'Hot Dog' Tradition Eases Students' Postsecondary Transition
Wednesday, August 22, 2012
Pet lovers gathered late Tuesday afternoon to enjoy sun, fun and conversation at “Hot Dog, You’re Here!” Penn College faculty and staff brought along their furry friends to welcome students in the Rose Street Commons Courtyard. The third annual “Hot Dog, You’re Here” event is an ice-breaking avenue to help first-year students transition to college life. In addition to meeting new members of their campus family, students enjoyed free hot dogs and friendly games of Frisbee and whiffle ball.
