The competition was fierce, the contestants were hungry and, in the end, the campers had a blast! The first Good Eats Olympics took place held at Penn College's Camp ESCAPE on Tuesday. The events included M&M relay races, in which competitors had to pass off M&Ms using only a spoon in their mouths; an M&M shuffle, in which campers (each, again, with a no-hands spoon) had to carry M&Ms to the other end of the Field House; and a cracker-eating relay race in which boys and girls had to run to one side of the Field House, eat four crackers as quickly as they could, sing the alphabet song, run back and tag the next person in line. The final and sweetest event saw each competitor start with a cookie on his/her forehead, maneuvering it down the face and into the mouth. "When it was all said and done, everyone was a winner," said intramural assistant Jeremy R. Bottorf, who provided the photos, "as the campers enjoyed a few snacks before lunch!"
