Construction Management Seniors Develop, Present Proposals for Local Church

Banks, Woodstock, Md.The top two groups of Penn College's four-year construction management majors, as chosen from among seniors who presented their capstones in a Project Development course last month, made follow-up appearances before Senior Pastor Andy Beare and others at the Greenview Alliance Church in Loyalsock Township on Thursday. The teams were tasked with developing proposals, designs, estimates, schedules, and product and systems recommendations for renovation and construction at the church. The students of construction management instructor Brad M. Martin conducted several interviews with church representatives relative to real-life structural needs; assistant professor Wayne R. Sheppard, who provided the photos, was also involved as a church representative.
