Middle States Reaccreditation Visit

An eight-member reaccreditation team representing the Middle States Commission on Higher Education began a four-day visit April 15 with a reception in The Gallery at Penn College and dinner in Le Jeune Chef Restaurant. The group – representing postsecondary institutions in the Mid-Atlantic region – will examine evidence gathered during Pennsylvania College of Technology's self-study process in support of the 14 Characteristics of Excellence required for reaccreditation. Team members are John M. Anderson, president, State University of New York College of Technology at Alfred (Alfred, N.Y.), chair; Joan M. Finucci, retired professor of mathematics and engineering at Baltimore City Community College; Thomas Glaser, vice president of information technology, Howard Community College (Columbia, Md.); Stephen W. Hahn, associate provost and professor of English, William Paterson University of New Jersey (Wayne, N.J.); Sridharan Iyengar, professor of chemistry, Anne Arundel Community College (Arnold, Md.); Claudine Keenan, chief planning officer, The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey (Galloway, N.J.); Michael D. Kilgus, vice president for administrative services, Chesapeake College (Wye Mills, Md.); and Steven Tyrell, vice president of student affairs, Alfred (N.Y.) State College.
