All smiles in the winners' circle A flurry of action at the net Student challengers, playing as 'Bro Montana'Dan Warner was on a mission, assembling a staff/faculty team that was just as hungry as he was to rebound from last year's loss to students. And his squad including Kim Bolig, Erin McMahon, Chris Suzadail, Michael Hersh and Dan Bennett swept the students 2-0 to end their winning streak at one. The opposition, "Bro Montana," consisted of Ryan Hushon, Mike Wiertel, Tyler Helmus, Noah Grube, Justin Wegner, Pete Koegel, Jackie Wagner, Ethan Kline and Jenna Barnes. "The students hung tough in the first set, but eventually fell 25-17," reported Jeremy R. Bottorf, intramural assistant (who also provided photos). "The students started out the second set with a 4-1 lead, but that was quickly erased as Erin McMahon served several aces to put the staff/faculty team back up for good." The staff/faculty team held on for a 25-18 win, taking the match. "A big 'Thank you' to everyone who participated," Bottorf added, "and to Dylan Lackey for refereeing the match."
